Blooming Pregnancy.

And so you are pregnant, congratulations on your Baby 2 B.
Now is the time to think about antenatal classes. The main aim of antenatal classes is to impart knowledge about all aspects of pregnancy- on your agenda.
Antenatal classes are run at all major maternity hospitals throughout the country, free of charge. Women are entitled to take paid time off work to attend as are their partners with the confines of employment legalisation.

Topics covered within the antenatal classes for example are:

Growth and development of the baby during pregnancy

Options for labour and delivery

Pain relief

Breastfeeding support/advice

Caring for your baby

Any other topics the group choose to discuss

The National Maternity Hospital endorse that “antenatal classes promote confidence in mothers and partners to meet the challenges of childbirth and early parenthood.

Good luck with your Baby 2 B.
